The Cybrix Group, Inc. (“Cybrix” for short) develops innovative technical
solutions and consults on critical Information Technology (IT) programs. We provide Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) as well as design and manage custom solutions ranging from command and control (C2) systems to highly integrated, classified networks.
Our team is comprised of military veterans and we leverage our experiences gained in service to build secure technologies for government agencies and provide catered, innovative technology for warfighters.
The name "Cybrix" is merged from the relationship between cyberspace and bricks and mortar.
The connection of cyberspace to brick and mortar has never been more prevalent than it is in today’s world. Globally, the world has made dramatic technologically-dependent shifts from virtual classroom settings to government organizations faced with the challenge of secure, telework.

Kristen Grove is a management professional with over 20 years of experience in both government and commercial sector organizations.
Kristen’s journey within Cybrix began as an engineer working with organizations such as the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). She then transitioned to other roles within Cybrix to include, proposal writer and project manager. In August 2020, after over 13 years with the company, Kristen has stepped into the role of managing partner at Cybrix.
Prior to joining the Cybrix family, Kristen served in the United States Air Force as a communications technician. While on active duty, she was a base communications operator at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany and went on to become a system administrator for the Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.
Kristen holds a master’s degree in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management from American Military University.
Community outreach remains at the forefront of Kristen’s personal and professional priorities. She has served on the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization dedicated to helping military veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Kristen also advocates for small business startups by guiding entrepreneurs through milestones including drafting business plans, c-suite pitches, and strategic planning.
Kristen is most proud of her family. She has been happily married for over 17 years to Matthew, an active duty United States Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer. Together they have two wonderful children, Connor and Cayla.
Tim Jones has over 30 years experience as a management professional in Information Systems, Communications and Information Technology in global environments. He was the Founder and President of Advanced Concepts Engineering. He is also the former Lead government representative for the Joint Operations Technology Center for Space and Naval Warfare.
In 2002, Tim founded the high tech company Cybrix Group. In 2011, Inc. magazine’s Inc. 500 named The Cybrix Group as the 55th fastest growing company in America. Early in his career, Tim completed eight years of active duty in the U.S. Navy. While on active duty, he served in various technical and supervisory positions in Europe and the United States. Duties ranged from working communications systems in Nea Makri Greece to participating on the Transatlantic Abort Landing (TAL) team (Spain) for NASA Space Shuttle missions. Tim completed his active duty career working meteorological and oceanographic research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) for the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center. Tim has been a goodwill ambassador in many countries throughout his distinguished career. Tim has been a guest speaker for government symposiums such as the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), Florida Governor’s Defense Task Force (Cybersecurity) and local events such as Career Day at Bloomingdale High School. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix where he graduated with Honors. Tim has one daughter, Jacki, living in Los Angeles, CA.
Carrie is CFO and Facility Security Officer (FSO) of the Cybrix Group where she manages all reporting and accounting functions as well as supervises and directs all security measures within the organization. She graduated from University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Cybrix Group, she spent over 12 years in the financial services industry where she accumulated extensive experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis. Carrie is also a veteran and served 4 years in the US Air Force as a medical technician at Keesler AFB Medical Center.
