Expertise and corporate knowledge of incumbent staff make fit ideal

Tampa, FL, April 21, 2011 – Cybrix Group, a systems integration and consulting firm, announces award from the Navy to provide support to the Navy Experimental Dive Unit (NEDU). The contract requires in-depth knowledge related to the processes involved in the identification, implementation and execution of mission-related tasks.

With Special Operations Forces (SOF) and SEAL experience as well as deep knowledge of the NEDU, Cybrix Group was the perfect choice to provide the additional guidance the Unit needed to execute their vision: to be the most credible and respected research, development, and test and evaluation center for diving as well as the focal point of leadership for biomedical and bioengineering solutions for undersea military operations.

This role will assist in the testing and evaluation of the Unit’s equipment, including: self-contained apparatus, hyperbaric chambers and other life-support systems, confirming their ability to meet real world mission requirements. In addition to equipment testing, Cybrix Group will also be providing weapons handling training. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide this level of support to the Navy,” states Tim Jones, Cybrix President and founder and Navy Veteran. “The work that the Navy Experimental Diving Unit does better enables sailor and other naval officers to have the right equipment for the right mission. Our team members are incredibly talented at what they do and it makes me proud to be part of such an amazing group.”
